The Lyme Disease Center Austria is more than just a project – it is the heartfelt vision of Andreas Staudinger. A response for those who can no longer expect help from conventional medicine because their symptoms have been dismissed, minimized, or even labeled psychosomatic.
For people living with chronic Lyme disease and co-infections, whose daily lives are often shaped by pain, exhaustion, and misunderstanding, this center is intended to become a place of genuine support, hope, and recovery – based on natural, gentle, yet highly effective approaches.
Therapy Based on Four Powerful Pillars
Our innovative therapeutic concept is built upon four complementary pillars, all sharing one essential goal: they are designed to be non-invasive, low in side effects whenever possible, and focused on sustainable recovery.
- 1. Holistic diagnostics through darkfield microscopy
Chronic Lyme disease often evades standard medical diagnostics. Darkfield blood analysis allows for visual blood assessment and may provide insights into microbial burdens, terrain imbalances, and possible Borrelia presence. - 2. The Buhner protocols as the herbal foundation
We rely on the proven herbal protocols of Stephen Harrod Buhner – an intelligent, plant-based therapeutic framework designed to reduce inflammation, modulate the immune system, and address co-infections holistically. - 3. HBOT – Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Oxygen inhaled under increased atmospheric pressure may penetrate deeply into tissues, support mitochondrial function, reduce inflammation, and according to some research, potentially contribute to lowering microbial burdens. - 4. Next-generation Rife technology
Frequency-based technology designed to target pathogenic microorganisms. We are currently investing in the development of a custom-built high-precision Rife system, intended to be unique on a global level. More than €100,000 has already been invested into this future-oriented technology. The prototype is planned for completion by mid-2026.
The Path to Implementation
The facilities are currently under development. Our Buhner herbal product range, darkfield microscope, and HBOT chamber are already operational. Infrastructure continues to expand with the goal of creating a professionally equipped, integrative center specifically tailored to individuals affected by chronic Lyme disease.
Pilot Project 2026/2027 – Participate & Help Shape the Future
For 2026/2027, we are seeking 5 volunteer test participants to undergo our four-pillar concept as part of a supervised pilot project. Together, we aim to observe, measure, and better understand the effectiveness of combining these therapeutic approaches. Participation will, of course, be free of charge for selected participants.
Our goal is to develop a stable, adaptable therapeutic concept that will be available to a wider audience from 2028 onward under the umbrella of the Lyme Disease Center Austria.
