Molchschwanz (Houttuynia cordata) - Tabletten, 270 mg Wirkstoff

Average rating of 4.33 out of 5 stars

Newt's Tail (Houttuynia cordata) - Tablets, 270 mg active ingredient

Houttuynia cordata Tablets, 270 mg Active Ingredient Tablet size → 16mm * 8mm Active ingredient per tablet → 270mg Houttuynia cordata (Heart-shaped Houttuynia) Tablets made from the ground herb What is the heart-shaped Houttuynia (Houttuynia cordata)? Houttuynia cordata is a perennial climbing plant whose stem grows along the ground. From it, upright stalks of about 35 centimeters rise. The plant owes its name to the heart-shaped leaves that grow on the stems. Whitish-green flowers with upright stalks also grow there. Originally found in Nepal, India, China, Indochina, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, and Java, Houttuynia cordata has since spread as an invasive plant to other parts of the world. This is mainly due to the remarkable adaptability of heart-shaped Houttuynia. It thrives from sea level up to elevations of 2500 meters above sea level. However, the medicinal plant prefers cool and shady locations. The soil should be moist and loamy, which is why Houttuynia cordata is often found along streams and in forests. For our products we use only the finely ground herb in pure and complete quality. The heart-shaped Houttuynia in traditional use Houttuynia cordata has a long tradition. According to indigenous populations, the plant is considered an irreplaceable remedy against diarrhea and infectious diseases. In Japan, the plant also holds a high status. There, people rely on heart-shaped Houttuynia as an important detoxifying agent. Its importance is reflected in its local name “dokudami,” which translates as “poison-blocking.” Houttuynia cordata is also recommended by practitioners and doctors in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). In TCM, the herb is classified as cold and pungent. It is mainly used to expel heat from the body, which, according to Chinese medicine, arises from an excess of Yang. This heat blocks important meridians such as the lungs and bladder, leading to inflammation in the lungs, sinuses, and the rest of the respiratory tract, as well as in the joints and excretory organs. By using heart-shaped Houttuynia, Yin and Yang are brought back into balance and body fluids can flow freely again. Houttuynia cordata Tablets without harmful additives This dietary supplement contains no artificial colorings, no flavorings, no preservatives, no gelatin, no added sugars, no lactose, and no gluten. Houttuynia cordata Tablets Ingredients IngredientContent per maximum daily dose Ground herb of Heart-shaped Houttuynia (Houttuynia cordata) about 810 mg Additionally, 2 commonly used and safe cellulose excipients with the abbreviations: MCC / HPMC for the form stability of the tablets, also of purely plant origin, and a very small amount (only a few thousandths by weight) of the likewise common and safe substance magnesium stearate. Houttuynia cordata Tablets Recommended Use The maximum dose is 3 (three) tablets per day with sufficient liquid, spread throughout the day. Start intake with just one tablet per day, and then gradually increase over several days until reaching the maximum daily dose. If you experience any unpleasant effects, remain at the lower dosage that feels comfortable for you. Notes Dietary supplements are generally not a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Store protected from heat, dry, and always out of the reach of children. The recommended daily intake stated here should generally not be exceeded. Important: This product is not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women, or for children! Otherwise, no significant side effects are known: as mentioned, the plant is commonly eaten raw or cooked in many parts of Asia, where its somewhat fish-like – and possibly unpleasant-smelling – taste does not appear to cause gastrointestinal problems for the local population.

Houttuynia cordata Tincture Recommended Use The long-term intended daily dose is 132 drops (approx. 4 milliliters) per day, ideally divided into four servings of about 33 drops each. Start first with a total of 64 drops (approx. 2 milliliters) per day – or four times 16 drops – and then increase gradually over several days until reaching the long-term daily dose. If you experience any unpleasant effects, remain at the lower dosage that feels comfortable for you. Use the supplied dropper pipette to count the drops. Notes Dietary supplements are generally not a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Store protected from heat, dry, and always out of the reach of children. The recommended daily intake stated here should generally not be exceeded.  The tincture is naturally cloudy and must be shaken before use. A somewhat unpleasant taste comes directly from the Houttuynia itself and is completely harmless; taking it with a tasty liquid such as fruit juice can help offset this. Important: Contains 50% alcohol by volume, but only in a small daily dose amounting to about 1.6 grams. This product is not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women, or for children!  Otherwise, no significant side effects are known: as mentioned, the plant is commonly eaten raw or cooked in many parts of Asia, where its somewhat fish-like – and possibly unpleasant-smelling – taste does not appear to cause gastrointestinal problems for the local population.

Newt's Tail (Houttuynia cordata) - 100g Powder

Chameleon Plant Powder Houttuynia cordata Powder made from the leaves What is the heart-shaped Houttuynia (Houttuynia cordata)? Houttuynia cordata is a perennial climbing plant whose stems creep along the ground before rising into upright stalks about 35 centimeters tall. It owes its name to the heart-shaped leaves that grow along the stems, as well as to the white-greenish flowers that stand upright on flower stalks. Originally native to Nepal, India, China, Indochina, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, and Java, Houttuynia cordata has now established itself as an invasive plant in other parts of the world. This spread is mainly due to the remarkable adaptability of the plant, which thrives at elevations from sea level up to 2500 meters. However, it prefers cool, shady locations with moist, loamy soil, which is why it is often found along streams and in forests. For our products, we use only the finely ground herb of Houttuynia cordata in its purest and highest quality. The heart-shaped Houttuynia in traditional use Houttuynia cordata has a long tradition and is valued by indigenous communities as an effective remedy against diarrhea and infectious diseases. In Japan, the plant is highly esteemed, particularly as a detoxifying agent, which is reflected in its local name "dokudami," meaning "poison-blocking." Houttuynia cordata is also recommended in traditional Chinese medicine. The herb is classified there as "cold and pungent" and is mainly used to expel heat from the body caused by an excess of Yang. This heat can block vital meridians such as the lungs and bladder, leading to inflammation in the respiratory tract, sinuses, joints, and excretory organs. By using Houttuynia cordata, Yin and Yang are brought back into balance and the body’s fluids can flow freely again. Ingredients Heart-shaped Houttuynia (Houttuynia cordata) from the leaves Note We offer the powder as a botanical raw material (food grade) without any intended use.

Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) tincture

Lemon Balm Tincture (1 : 4) Lemon Balm (Melissae officinalis folium) tincture made from dried leaves What is Lemon Balm Tincture (Melissa officinalis)? You have probably encountered the enchanting fragrance of lemon balm before. Not without reason, this healing plant is often called “lemon balm” in popular language. But Melissa officinalis has far more to offer than its scent alone. In the Middle Ages, this plant was cultivated in nearly every monastery garden for its many uses. Originally native to the Mediterranean region, lemon balm thrives in warm, dry, and nutrient-rich soils. The plant can reach a height of up to 120 cm, producing delicate white blossoms. When cultivated, this hardy perennial adapts well to central Europe and can live up to 30 years depending on its environment. For our tincture, we exclusively use lemon balm leaves, following traditional practices. The leaves are harvested under strict quality standards, carefully dried, and extracted with alcohol to ensure that all valuable compounds are fully preserved and available in their purest form. A medicinal plant with a long tradition Lemon balm has been used in monastic medicine for centuries to address a wide range of complaints. Hildegard of Bingen wrote: “Its warmth touches the spleen and therefore gladdens the heart.” The medieval physician Arnaldus de Villanova prescribed lemon balm for depression and heart issues, while the famous physician Paracelsus praised it as “the best herb for the heart of all that the earth provides.” In traditional European folk medicine, Melissa officinalis has been successfully used for centuries. It is primarily applied in cases of digestive complaints, headaches, mood swings, toothache, earache, muscle and joint discomfort, sleep disorders, and stomach pain. Melissa officinalis contains valuable compounds such as: essential oils, bitter substances, tannins (including caffeic acid and rosmarinic acid), resins, flavonoids, glycosides, mucilage, saponins, thymol, and vitamin C. Lemon Balm Tincture without unnecessary additives This dietary supplement contains no artificial colors, no flavorings, no added sugar, no lactose, and no gluten. Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum) Tincture

Milk Thistle Tincture (1 : 4) Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum - Cardui Mariae fructus/herba) tincture made from fruits and herb What is Milk Thistle Tincture (Silybum marianum)? Milk thistle was named “Medicinal Plant of the Year 2021” – and for good reason. Folk medicine has valued this plant since the Middle Ages, if not earlier. The name “milk thistle” itself highlights its significance. According to legend, a common thistle came into contact with the Virgin Mary’s milk while she was nursing the infant Jesus. Normally, thistles are not particularly admired, but this plant is said to have received its special attention by developing distinctive white-green veined leaves. In addition to its striking leaves, milk thistle bears beautiful purple blossoms on stems that can reach up to 150 cm – though, like all thistles, it also carries its share of sharp spines. Originally native to the Mediterranean, Silybum marianum can now also be found in central Europe, especially in warm and dry habitats. For our tincture, we use equal parts of milk thistle fruit and herb. The plant parts are harvested according to strict quality criteria, carefully dried, and extracted with alcohol to ensure that all valuable compounds are preserved and made fully available to you. A proven medicinal herb since antiquity Many medieval records document the diverse applications of milk thistle. Dioscorides recommended it against snake bites, while Pliny used it for gallbladder complaints. In 19th-century monastery medicine, milk thistle held a firm place in treatments for gall, spleen, and liver conditions. Hildegard of Bingen even prescribed it for side stitch, which at that time referred to lung and pleural inflammation. Today, milk thistle is recognized in both naturopathy and conventional medicine as effective support for the liver and gallbladder. Its benefits are largely attributed to silymarin – a complex of three different flavonoids. Milk thistle contains valuable compounds such as: the flavonoid complex silymarin (silibinin, silychristin, silydianin), betaine, bitter substances, gamma-linolenic acid, essential oils, and resins. Milk Thistle Tincture without unnecessary additives This dietary supplement contains no artificial colors, no flavorings, no preservatives, no added sugar, no lactose, and no gluten. Milk Thistle Tincture Ingredients IngredientContent per maximum daily dose Milk thistle fruits and herb, dried and blended in equal parts(Silybum marianum - Cardui Mariae fructus/herba) approx. 2100 mg Extraction solvent: Ethanol approx. 4 g Additionally contains traces of acetic acid from organic apple vinegar (less than 1%) and pure water. Milk Thistle Tincture Recommended Use The long-term intended daily dose is 280 drops (approx. 8.5 ml), best divided into five portions of about 56 drops each. Start with only 180 drops (approx. 5.5 ml) per day – or five times 36 drops – and gradually increase to the full daily dose over several days. Use the provided pipette to measure the drops. Maca (Lepidium meyenii) - Tabletten, 450 mg Wirkstoff

Maca (Lepidium meyenii) - Tablets, 450 mg active ingredient

Maca Tablets, 450 mg active ingredient Tablet size → 16 mm * 8 mm Active ingredient per tablet → 450 mg What is Maca (Lepidium meyenii / Lepidium peruvianum)? In recent years, Maca has also gained attention in Europe. But what exactly is behind this name? It is the root of a cress plant originally native to Peru. This medicinal plant thrives best at altitudes of up to 4000 meters in the Andes. Under these extreme conditions – strong winds, cold, and intense UV radiation – Maca develops its full potential. At only about 20 cm in height, the plant grows close to the ground, and its true treasure lies in its root. The stem gradually transforms into a tuber, where the plant stores not only water but also a wealth of nutrients. At first glance, the Maca root looks much like a turnip. From the tuber sprout feathery leaves, which are used by the local Peruvian population as food, often eaten as a salad. The Sacred Plant of the Indigenous People For the people of Peru, Maca has always been an essential part of life. For over 2000 years, it has been valued both as food and medicine. Even the Inca appreciated its powerful effects when they built the legendary city of “Machu Picchu” in the 15th century. To this day, indigenous communities value Maca especially for its strengthening properties. In traditional Peruvian medicine, the root has been used for arthritic pain, respiratory issues, and for supporting hormonal balance. Women in particular use Maca from midlife onwards, as it is believed to help with resilience, mood swings, and energy levels during the natural transition that begins around age 40. For our products, we use only high-quality Maca roots that meet strict quality standards, ensuring that you receive only biologically valuable Maca. What’s inside: The Maca tuber provides a rich abundance of nutrients. It contains proteins, carbohydrates, and essential micronutrients such as zinc, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, vitamin C, and vitamin B3. It also contains a wide variety of secondary plant compounds, including glucosinolates (mustard oil glycosides) and natural plant sterols.
