Echinacea, 360 mg purple coneflower herb per tablet Tablet size: 16mm * 8mm Amount of purple coneflower herb per tablet: 360mg What is purple coneflower herb (Echinacea purpurea)? Interestingly, this long-known plant is mostly known in this region by its scientific name, “Echinacea”. The name comes from Greek and means “hedgehog”. No other name could describe the appearance of the plant, which can grow up to 1 metre tall, more fittingly. The purple flower head is reminiscent of this shape, with pink ray florets around it. At the beginning of flowering, purple coneflower herb is almost odourless. Over time, when the plant may appear wilted to the European eye, it develops a fine scent that becomes more intense once the flower has been pollinated. This interesting plant is originally found in the USA and Canada. Echinacea prefers dry, calcareous soils such as those found in prairie regions. We use the above-ground herb for our products, in the familiar Phönix der Lebenskraft quality. Details of the composition can be found in the overview below.
