Artemisia Annua Tablets, 540 mg Active Ingredient Tablet size → 20 mm * 10 mm Active ingredient per tablet → 540 mg Important: Since we are frequently asked whether Artemisia Annua products can be ingested, we would like to clarify the issue here. The problem is not with the quality or processing of the product, but a legal one. Artemisia Annua has been banned as a dietary supplement within the EU — largely due to growing pharmaceutical lobbying. From a legal perspective, we are required to strictly advise against internal use, as we would otherwise be committing a criminal offense! However, we cannot prevent you from using this product at your own risk, even if that means using it contrary to its official designation. Artemisia Annua Tablets made from finely ground herb We offer these tablets for use in scent sachets and kindly ask that you follow the instructions below carefully. What is Artemisia Annua? Also known as Sweet Wormwood, Artemisia Annua is considered the queen of medicinal plants. This ancient herb originates from Asia but is now cultivated worldwide. It can grow up to 2 meters tall and thrives in many environments, especially in nutrient-poor soils. In producing our products, we place great value on purity and sustainability. We exclusively use plants that meet our strict quality standards. Artemisia Annua in Traditional Chinese Medicine Artemisia Annua has been used for over 2,000 years in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Its applications are diverse, and practitioners in Asia appreciate its supportive effects on the body’s immune system. While the human body can naturally detoxify and defend itself, it’s not always fully effective. TCM therefore uses the power of Artemisia Annua to help rid the body of unwanted intruders and to regenerate cells. Sweet Wormwood contains a broad range of plant compounds including bitter substances, essential oils, flavonoids, terpenes, antioxidants, and the unique compound artemisinin. This secondary metabolite is found only in Artemisia Annua. In 2015, the scientist Tu Youyou was awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine for her work on this remarkable substance. Artemisia Annua also has a particularly high mineral content, including potassium, calcium, phosphorus, and sulfur. Its amino acid profile is regarded as especially well-balanced. Artemisia Annua Tablets – Free from Questionable Additives Ingredients – Artemisia Annua Tablets IngredientPer Daily Amount Ground herb of Sweet Wormwood(Artemisia Annua – contains natural artemisinin) approx. 4860 mg Also includes two common and harmless cellulose-based excipients: MCC and HPMC (for tablet stability), both of plant origin, and a very small amount (only a few thousandths by weight) of the commonly used and non-toxic substance magnesium stearate. Important Notes Legal Disclaimer: Artemisia Annua (Sweet Wormwood) is not approved for sale as a food or dietary supplement in the European Union — according to the EU Novel Food Regulation. Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat and out of reach of children. The recommended daily application — for example, in scent sachets — should not be exceeded. Important: For further information, we recommend researching Artemisia Annua and its diverse uses through trusted sources, e.g. "Buhner".

Cryptolepis Tincture (1 : 4) Cryptolepis (Cryptolepis sanguinolenta) tincture made from ground root What is Cryptolepis (Cryptolepis sanguinolenta)? Cryptolepis sanguinolenta is still considered a botanical insider tip in the Western world. The tropical plant originates from Africa and is mainly found in Angola, Lagos, the former Belgian Congo and Gambia. Cryptolepis likes heat and grows particularly in savannas and dry forests. With its glossy green leaves and delicately curved white flowers, the climbing plant has a very distinctive appearance. The African plant owes its name to a special characteristic: when the stem is cut, a bright red sap appears. This is why it received the epithet “sanguinolenta”, which translates as “bleeding”. For our products, we follow traditional use and process ground roots. We place great importance on careful selection of raw materials and on a responsible approach to people and nature. Cryptolepis is described, among others, in publications by Stephen Harrod Buhner and is known in herbal literature for its long traditional use. Cryptolepis in traditional use In African plant lore, Cryptolepis holds a high status. The plant has long been described there and is also known in modern herbal literature. Traditionally, Cryptolepis is mentioned in various contexts relating to general wellbeing. These traditional uses are not equivalent to a medical effect. The plant contains a range of interesting constituents, including: Alkaloids - especially cryptolepine Polyphenols - secondary plant compounds Saponins - natural plant constituents Flavonoids - secondary plant compounds Cryptolepis tincture with a clear formula This food supplement contains Cryptolepis root, extraction solvent ethanol, water and traces of acetic acid from organic apple cider vinegar. Red Sage tablets, 450 mg ground root per tablet Tablet size: 16mm * 8mm Amount per tablet: 450mg ground Red Sage root Red Sage (Salvia miltiorrhiza) tablets made from the roots What is Red Sage (Salvia miltiorrhiza)? With its orchid-like purple flowers and peppermint-like leaves, Red Sage is a visually striking plant. The characteristic part of the plant is not immediately visible: deep in the soil is the thick, deep-red root of Red Sage. In the regions where Salvia miltiorrhiza is traditionally known, including China and Japan, this root has long held a special place in plant knowledge. The herbaceous plant prefers riverbanks and woodland areas. When the site conditions are suitable, Red Sage can reach a height of up to 80 cm. For our tablets, we use only the deep-red roots. They are harvested according to defined quality criteria, carefully dried and finely ground before being gently pressed into tablets. A traditionally valued plant in Chinese herbal knowledge In traditional Chinese herbal knowledge, Red Sage has a special status. It is also known as Danshen or Tan Shen and has been described for a long time. The focus is the characteristic deep-red root, which is classified in traditional descriptions as slightly cold and bitter and associated with the heart and liver meridians. These details describe the historical classification within TCM and are not intended as health-related effect statements for this food supplement. Red Sage contains naturally occurring plant constituents such as triterpenes, diterpenes (tanshinones and isotanshinones), flavonoids, phenylpropanes, tannins, steroids, lignans and quinones. Red Sage tablets - carefully processed This food supplement is made without artificial colours, flavourings, preservatives, gelatine or added sugar. Red Sage tablets ingredients IngredientContent per recommended daily intake Red Sage - ground root (Salvia miltiorrhiza) approx. 4500 mg In addition, the tablets contain 2 common cellulose excipients with the short names MCC / HPMC for tablet stability, also of plant origin, and a very small amount (only a few per mille by weight) of magnesium stearate. With its small white flowers and countless leaves, Japanese knotweed looks rather understated at first glance and is slightly reminiscent of bamboo. The plant originally comes from Asia. It is now found in many regions and is described in botany for its vigorous growth. It often grows near rivers and streams, but it can also occur in many other locations and soil types. Under suitable conditions, it can grow very quickly and noticeably shape its immediate surroundings. These botanical features make Japanese knotweed easy to recognise for many plant enthusiasts. For our products, we use carefully selected plants according to our internal quality specifications. Processing is designed to keep the composition clear and understandable and to provide a practical tablet form. Japanese knotweed in traditional Chinese herbal culture Japanese knotweed has also become known in the Western world and is requested in the area of botanical food supplements. In traditional Chinese herbal culture, the plant is known, among other names, as Hu Zhang. The plant naturally contains different plant substances, including flavonoids and resveratrol. These tablets are made with ground root. Many people know resveratrol mainly from grapes and red wine. In this product, the term resveratrol is used only to describe a naturally occurring plant substance in Japanese knotweed. No particular health-related effect is claimed. The resveratrol content in Japanese knotweed may vary depending on the raw material. The relevant information for this product is the stated composition and the recommended daily intake. The tablets are intended as a food supplement for a daily routine. Japanese knotweed has been described in traditional Chinese herbal culture for a long time. Such references are used to classify the plant and do not indicate special suitability for any specific complaints. Japanese knotweed tablets in a practical form This food supplement contains ground Japanese knotweed root and the excipients listed in the ingredient information for tablet production. Cryptolepis Tablets, 300 mg active ingredient Cryptolepis pressed tablets made from ground root Tablet size → 16mm * 8mm Active ingredient per tablet → 300mg What is Cryptolepis (Cryptolepis sanguinolenta)? Cryptolepis sanguinolenta is still considered a true insider tip in the Western world. This tropical plant originates from Africa and is mainly found in Angola, Lagos, the Belgian Congo, and Gambia. Cryptolepis thrives in hot climates and prefers savannahs and dry forests. With its glossy green leaves and delicately curved white flowers, this climbing plant has a majestic appearance. The African medicinal plant owes its name to a very special feature: when the stem is cut, a bright red sap emerges. That's why it was given the name "sanguinolenta", which means "bleeding" in Latin. We follow traditional usage in our product development and exclusively use the ground root, as it contains a significantly higher spectrum of active substances than the rest of the plant. We place great value on absolute purity and sustainability of the raw materials – the well-being of both people and nature is equally important to us. According to Stephen Harrod Buhner, Cryptolepis is the most potent systemically active antibiotic medicinal plant. Cryptolepis in Traditional Use In African herbal medicine, Cryptolepis enjoys a very high reputation. It is used to treat a wide variety of conditions and to regulate the sleep-wake cycle. The local population swears by this healing plant for all types of digestive problems, internal heat, and joint pain. It is also prescribed by African healers for respiratory and excretory disorders. This African medicinal plant contains a variety of interesting ingredients, including: Alkaloids – especially cryptolepine (This plant compound may affect mood.) Polyphenols – secondary plant compounds that support the immune system and are considered important antioxidants. Saponins – help the body defend against invisible intruders. Flavonoids – believed to have a protective effect on body cells. Cryptolepis Tablets – Free from Questionable Additives This dietary supplement contains no artificial coloring, no flavorings, no preservatives, no gelatin, no added sugars, no lactose, and no gluten. Kalmegh (Andrographis paniculata) tablets, 300 mg Kalmegh herb powder per tablet Kalmegh tablets made from ground herb Tablet size: 16 mm * 8 mm Kalmegh herb powder per tablet: 300 mg What is Kalmegh? Kalmegh is known as the queen of bitter plants. It is also known by its botanical name Andrographis paniculata. The upright-growing plant, with its many leaves and small white flowers, appears rather modest at first glance. From a Western perspective, the bushy herb may almost resemble a common weed. In its native regions of South and Southeast Asia, however, Kalmegh has long been highly valued. The queen of bitter plants would not feel at home here either, even without our reservations, as it prefers warm, humid locations. Inspired by TCM and Ayurveda, we use only the above-ground parts of the plant for our products. In Far Eastern herbal traditions, the leaves, flowers and stems are traditionally at the centre of attention. In line with our high quality standards, we use only plants that meet our criteria. Kalmegh in Ayurveda and TCM Kalmegh contains a range of plant-specific constituents such as diterpenes and other secondary plant compounds. These substances shape the bitter profile of the plant and are one reason why the queen of bitter plants has traditionally been recognised in India, Indonesia, China and many other Asian countries. In Ayurveda, Kalmegh has been described for more than 2,000 years and is even mentioned in ancient writings. There, Kalmegh is one of the well-known bitter herbs and is traditionally classified in various contexts of herbal knowledge. In traditional Chinese medicine, Andrographis paniculata also plays an important role as a bitter herb. The queen of bitter plants is mentioned in classical descriptions and formulas and has a firm place in Far Eastern herbal traditions. Andrographis paniculata is also known to many readers from the books of Stephen Harrod Buhner and from modern herbal literature. Rhodiola Powder Rhodiola (Rhodiola rosea) powder made from the roots What is Rhodiola? This aromatic herbaceous plant with a melodic name was less present in our regions for a long time, although Rhodiola has been mentioned in botanical and herbal sources here since the 17th century. Rhodiola rosea, from the Crassulaceae family, is mainly found in arctic areas and mountain regions of Eurasia. The plant reaches a maximum height of 35 cm and can be recognised as a succulent by its characteristic leaves. The small flowers in dense inflorescences release a distinctive scent. Both the roots and the above-ground stems give off a rose-like aroma when cut, which is how the plant got its name. For our powder, we use ground rhodiola root. This gives you a clearly specified botanical raw material in a practical powder form. Rhodiola in herbal tradition Rhodiola has long been described in Scandinavian and Russian herbal traditions. In Siberia, Rhodiola is also known as "golden root", reflecting its traditional appreciation. The indigenous people of the Altai region also used Rhodiola traditionally. These statements describe the plant's traditional history of use and do not constitute a promise of effect. Knowledge about Rhodiola was also present in German-speaking regions. The plant is mentioned in historical herbals, including by Leonhart Fuchs. Rhodiola contains plant-typical constituents such as phenolic glycosides (e.g. salidroside and rosavid, tyrosol), tannins, flavonoids, plant acids, phytosterols, polysaccharides and essential oils. Ingredients Rhodiola (Rhodiola rosea) from the roots Note We offer the powder as a botanical raw material in food-grade quality. Please observe the information on the label.

Houttuynia cordata is a perennial plant whose stem grows along the ground. Upright stems of around 35 centimetres grow from it. Houttuynia gets its name from the heart-shaped leaves found on these stems. The plant also forms greenish-white flowers with an upright flower stalk. Houttuynia cordata is originally found in Nepal, India, China and Indochina, across Japan and Vietnam and as far as Thailand and Java. Today, the plant is also established in other parts of the world as an invasive species. This is mainly due to the strong adaptability of heartleaf houttuynia.
