The Chinese caterpillar fungus (Cordyceps sinensis), also known as Cordyceps, originates from southern China and the Himalayan region. The mushroom has long been known in various Asian cultural traditions.
The fruiting body of the Chinese caterpillar fungus is used for this tincture. The recommended daily intake of 2 ml corresponds to a mushroom extract made from a total of 2000 mg of Chinese caterpillar fungus fruiting body.
The liquid form allows the recommended daily intake to be divided easily into two individual portions of 1 ml each. One millilitre corresponds to 33 drops.
The fruiting body of the Chinese caterpillar fungus is processed in an alcoholic preparation. The product is manufactured using the vacuum Soxhlet process, which is designed for consistent processing of the mushroom material used.
