What is guarana (Paullinia cupana)?

Guarana is a climbing plant originally native to the South American rainforest. More precisely, it is a liana from the soapberry family. The climbing plant can reach a height of up to 10 metres and prefers a warm, humid climate. Its whitish-yellow flowers develop into red fruits with a black seed inside. This fruit seed is traditionally used and is closely linked to the plant culture of the Amazon region.

For our products, we use ground fruit seeds of Paullinia cupana. Careful selection and consistent quality are central to our approach.

The black seed is the plant part used for guarana products. For the tablets, it is ground and then pressed into a stable form with the excipients listed below.

Guarana as a traditional plant

Guarana has been valued in South America for centuries. The ground fruit seed was traditionally used during longer stays and journeys in the Amazon region and served as a plant-based companion. Today, tablets offer a practical and easy-to-portion format for the daily routine.

In its region of origin, guarana is used in various traditional contexts. For food supplements, however, the composition, the recommended intake and a factual description of the plant are the focus.

Practical format

The tablets are compact, easy to portion and suitable for those who do not want to use guarana as a drink or loose powder. The stated daily dose remains easy to follow.

What is inside?

Looking at the constituents of this rainforest plant, the naturally occurring caffeine, theophylline and theobromine stand out. These plant constituents are typical of guarana seeds. The tablets contain ground guarana seed powder and can be easily integrated into an existing nutrition routine.

Guarana statt Kaffee

Vertrage Kaffee in der letzten Zeit nicht mehr so gut, bin deswegen auf Guarana umgestiegen.

Wirkt super, wie Kaffee nur langsamer und ohne Herzklopfen.

Nettle (Urtica) tablets, 600 mg active ingredient

Nettle Tablets, 600 mg Active Ingredient Tablet size → 20mm * 10mm Active ingredient per tablet → 600mg What is Nettle (Urtica sp.)? The nettle is not exactly one of humanity’s favorite plants. On the contrary, it is often referred to as a weed. This is mainly due to its leaves, which are covered with numerous stinging and bristly hairs. When touched carelessly, these hairs certainly live up to their name and can leave unpleasant marks on the skin. This happens quite easily, as the plant – which can grow up to 150 cm tall – is found wherever people live. It thrives in gardens, forest edges, and meadows alike. People often try to fight this ancient plant deliberately, but this is not easy, since its deep rootstock is hardy and resilient. Its four-edged stem and clusters of small, inconspicuous flowers up to 10 cm long also withstand many environmental challenges. For our products, we use only ground leaves and roots. This way, you benefit from the full power of the plant. Of course, we adhere to our quality promise and use only plants from natural, organic cultivation. A medicinal plant with a long tradition Despite its modern reputation, the nettle is one of the oldest medicinal plants on earth. As early as 3,000 years before our era, the ancient Egyptians valued Urtica for its soothing effects on various types of pain. The knowledge about this healing plant was also preserved in antiquity. The Greek physician Dioscorides described numerous uses, especially for ailments of the excretory organs, pain, strained movements, and to support the respiratory system. Another ancient source summarized its benefits succinctly in the 1st century AD: “The leaves soften the abdomen, dispel flatulence and promote urination.” Even the healers of the Middle Ages, such as Sebastian Kneipp and Hildegard von Bingen, placed their full trust in this plant. Kneipp recognized its unique cleansing effect on all bodily fluids, while Hildegard praised nettle mainly for its beneficial impact on digestive discomfort. In folk medicine, people have long relied – and still rely – on the unique composition of active ingredients found in this native plant. In addition to its traditional uses, nettle has also been successfully used for skin problems, to stimulate metabolism, and to support the liver, gallbladder, stomach, intestines, and pancreas. What’s inside: Nettle contains a true abundance of highly effective plant compounds, such as: Phenolic acids (antioxidants that may slow the aging process and help keep inflammation under control) Flavonoids (powerful antioxidants that protect the body from free radicals) Coumarin (known for its calming, antispasmodic, and anti-inflammatory properties) Chlorophyll Carotenoids – these secondary plant substances are among the most important antioxidants and provide effective protection against free radicals Vitamins (A, C, E) Minerals and trace elements: iron, potassium, silicon, magnesium, phosphorus Nettle tablets without questionable additives This dietary supplement contains no artificial colorings, flavorings, preservatives, gelatin, added sugar, lactose, or gluten. Ingredients IngredientAmount per daily doseInfo Nettle leaves and roots(Urtica dioica) approx. 3000 mg Organic raw material Additionally, two common and harmless cellulose excipients (MCC / HPMC) are used for the tablet’s shape stability. These are also of purely plant origin. A very small amount (only a few thousandths by weight) of the equally common and safe substance magnesium stearate is included. Recommended intake Take 5 tablets daily with sufficient liquid. Notes Food supplements are generally not a substitute for a balanced and varied diet or a healthy lifestyle. Store protected from heat, in a dry place, and out of the reach of children. The recommended daily intake should generally not be exceeded.

Maca (Lepidium meyenii) - Tablets, 450 mg active ingredient

Maca tablets, 450 mg Tablet size → 16mm * 8mmAmount per tablet → 450mg What is Maca (Lepidium meyenii)? In recent years, Maca has also become a familiar term in many European markets. It is the root of a cress-family plant originally native to Peru and mainly cultivated in high-altitude regions of the Andes. There, the plant is adapted to wind, cold and intense sunlight. With a growth height of around 20 cm, it grows close to the ground. The plant part used is the tuber-like root, which develops from the plant stem and visually resembles a small turnip. Depending on the raw material, the size and colour of the roots may naturally vary. The tuber produces feather-like leaves, which are traditionally also used as a food in Peru, for example in salads. Traditionally used plant from the Andes Maca has long been part of Peruvian food culture. The plant has been cultivated in the Andes for around 2,000 years and is traditionally used as a food. Names such as “Maca root”, “Andean root” or “Peruvian ginseng” are also commonly associated with Lepidium meyenii. In our tablets, the ground Maca root tuber is provided in a practical dosage form. For tablet production, the root tuber is dried, ground and then compressed with the tablet excipients listed below. This keeps the product description clear: it contains ground Maca plant material, not an isolated or standardised extract. The tablets are intended to supplement the daily diet and can be easily integrated into a personal routine thanks to the clear daily serving. They are a practical choice for anyone who does not want to stir Maca powder into drinks and prefers a portioned dosage form. For our products, we use Maca roots that meet our quality requirements. This gives you a carefully selected Maca product made with ground root tuber. The focus is on a straightforward formulation and easy use. The recommended daily intake is reflected directly by the number of tablets, so no kitchen scale or stirring into drinks is required. What it contains: The Maca tuber naturally contains plant components such as carbohydrates, protein and secondary plant compounds. As is usual with plant raw materials, the exact composition may be subject to natural variation. Botanical literature describes Maca as containing, among other things, glucosinolates and other secondary plant compounds. Our tablets use ground Maca plant material and not an isolated extract.
