Mistletoe Herb Tincture (1 : 4)

Mistletoe herb (Viscum album L.) tincture made from the herb

What is mistletoe herb?

Viscum album L. belongs to the mistletoe family and is native to Europe and Scandinavia. The spherical shrubs grow in tree crowns and use their host as a source of moisture. When these semi-parasitic plants thrive, they can reach a diameter of up to one metre. Milky white berries develop between the evergreen leaves from rather inconspicuous flowers. Mistletoe has fascinated people for centuries and has a firm place in botanical tradition and folklore.

Plant parts used

For our tincture, we use the whole mistletoe herb. It is carefully and gently dried, finely ground and extracted with alcohol. The result is a naturally cloudy tincture designed to supplement the daily diet.
