Product information "Siberian Ginseng (Eleutherococcus senticosus) Tincture"
Siberian Ginseng tincture (1 : 4)
Siberian Ginseng (Eleutherococcus senticosus) tincture made from the roots
What is Siberian Ginseng (Eleutherococcus senticosus)?
When people hear the term Siberian Ginseng, many first think of ginseng. However, these are different plants that are not directly botanically related. Siberian Ginseng, as the name suggests, is originally found in Siberia and north-eastern China. The traditionally described plant from the ivy family is also known as Taiga root. The green shrub can reach a height of up to 3 metres. Its umbel-like flowers develop into blue-black, berry-like fruits. As the Latin epithet “senticosus” indicates, Siberian Ginseng is “rich in thorns”.
For our tincture, we combine traditional botanical knowledge with modern processing. We use ground roots from carefully selected cultivation. These are finely milled and processed as an alcoholic 1:4 extract. The result is a practical tincture for your daily supplement routine.
The 50 ml bottle with pipette makes it easy to portion the drops according to the recommended intake.
The story of the “unknown ginseng”
In German-speaking countries, Siberian Ginseng is, if at all, better known as “Taiga root” and is still regarded as a notable plant in traditional botanical literature. In its home region (Siberia and China), Taiga root has long been mentioned in traditional plant descriptions.
Taiga root is also described in TCM literature and assigned to various traditional contexts. This text focuses on the botanical description, careful processing and practical tincture format.
The names “Siberian Ginseng”, “Taiga root”, “Eleuthero” and “Ciwujia” are used in botanical literature for Eleutherococcus senticosus. They are used here for botanical identification and easier orientation.
