What is turmeric (Curcuma longa) with black pepper (Piper nigrum)?

Most people know turmeric and black pepper primarily as spices. In this formula, both plant materials are combined in a practical tablet form.

Turmeric and black pepper have a long tradition in Ayurveda and TCM. However, this product is intended as a neutral supplement to the daily diet.

Turmeric belongs to the ginger family and originally comes from tropical regions of Asia. The plant is cultivated in Asia and Africa, among other regions. Curcuma longa is an approximately 1 metre tall plant that grows from a tuber. With its large stalked leaves and yellow flowers, it resembles the ginger plant.

Piper nigrum belongs to the pepper family. The climbing plant grows up trees and can reach a height of up to 10 metres. Black pepper is made from the unripe fruits, which develop their wrinkled shape and black colour during drying.

For the production of our tablets, we use carefully selected turmeric roots. After the above-ground parts of the plant have wilted, the roots are cut into small pieces, dried and finely ground. Once the raw materials have passed the intended inspection and processing steps, they are processed into pressed tablets.

Turmeric and black pepper in your daily routine

Turmeric has long been used in Indian culture as a spice and plant raw material. The yellow root is also known in traditional systems such as Ayurveda and TCM. These references are provided solely for botanical and cultural-historical context and do not constitute a health claim.

Turmeric with black pepper contains plant-typical constituents such as curcuminoids, essential oils, sesquiterpenes, polysaccharides, hydroxycinnamic acid derivatives, peptides (e.g. tumerin), terpenes (phellandrene, cineole, borneol) and caporonic acid.

Ginger tablets, 450 mg ginger root Tablet size 16mm * 8mm Amount of ginger root per tablet 450mg Ginger tablets made from ground root What is ginger (Zingiber officinale)? As a sharp, aromatic spice, ginger has long been known in our part of the world. The botanically used plant part is the rhizome, often referred to in everyday language as ginger root. The branched rhizomes have been used for centuries in cuisines and herbal traditions. Ginger is also frequently described in TCM and in historical European sources - here, however, consciously as a food or food supplement, not as a medicine. Be honest: would you recognise a ginger plant? Probably not, because with its thick stem and long leaves, the plant, which can grow up to 150 cm tall, is more reminiscent of reed. For Europeans, seeing a real ginger plant is uncommon. The herbaceous plant prefers a warm, humid climate and is mainly found in tropical and subtropical regions. Our ginger roots are selected according to defined quality criteria, carefully dried, finely ground and gently pressed into tablets. Grinding the dried root produces a plant powder that can be portioned precisely. The result is a practical tablet form made from ground ginger root, with 450 mg per tablet. Ginger in TCM, Roman and monastery traditions Traditional Chinese Medicine has described ginger within its own system for a long time. In that tradition, ginger is traditionally classified as warming, sharp and aromatic and assigned to specific categories. These statements refer to historical and cultural classifications and are not intended as health-related recommendations or medical statements. Ginger also appears early in European traditions. Alexander the Great helped spread knowledge of the rhizome in Europe, and Roman sources also mention ginger. In the Middle Ages, monasteries dealt with many spices and plant substances; ginger was one of the well-known traded goods and was valued in the cuisine and herbal knowledge of the time. Typical natural constituents of ginger root include essential oil, gingerols and shogaols; the specific composition may vary depending on the raw material. Ginger tablets with a clearly declared formula This food supplement contains ground ginger rhizome as well as the excipients listed in the composition for the tablet form. The 4 tablets per day can be taken separately (e.g. two tablets in the morning, one at midday and one in the evening) with sufficient liquid. Rosenwurz (Rhodiola rosea) - Tabletten, 378 mg Wirkstoff
Rhodiola rosea - Tablets, 378 mg active ingredient

Rhodiola Tablets, 378 mg active ingredient Tablet size → 16mm * 8mm Active ingredient per tablet → 378mg Rhodiola pressed tablets made from ground root What is Rhodiola (Rhodiola rosea)? The fragrant medicinal plant with its melodious name had long been forgotten in Central Europe, even though Rhodiola already played an important role here as early as the 17th century. Rhodiola rosea, from the Crassulaceae family, is mainly found in arctic regions and the mountain ranges of Eurasia. The small plant, with a maximum height of 35 cm, is immediately recognizable as a succulent thanks to its characteristic leaves. Its tiny clustered flowers exude a pleasant fragrance, underlining its unique nature. Not only the flowers delight the senses – when cut, the roots and stems also release a rose-like scent, which gave the plant its name "rose root." For the production of our tablets, we follow the traditional knowledge of Nordic folk medicine and use only finely ground roots. These are mostly sourced from wild collections in Russia. However, we strive to obtain all raw materials from controlled cultivation in order to protect the wild Rhodiola population. Because for us, not only your well-being but also the health of our planet is important. The forgotten adaptogen In Scandinavia as well as in Russia, Rhodiola has long been considered an extraordinary adaptogen. Adaptogens are plants that gently but effectively influence the body’s stress response and help the organism develop greater stress resistance. In Siberia, Rhodiola is referred to as the “golden root,” emphasizing its high status. In Nordic folk medicine, this herb has been used to enhance concentration and memory performance and is also said to support vitality and potency. The indigenous people of the Altai region also valued Rhodiola highly, using it especially for persistent fatigue, weakness, and to support both mental and physical strength. This knowledge was also present in German-speaking regions. Rhodiola was already mentioned as an important tonic and trusted remedy for headaches in Leonhard Fuchs’ herbal book. Rhodiola contains valuable compounds such as phenolic glycosides (e.g. salidroside and rosavin, tyrosol), phytamines, tannins, flavonoids, organic acids, phytosterols, polysaccharides, and essential oils. Rhodiola without questionable additives This dietary supplement contains no artificial coloring, no flavoring, no preservatives, no gelatin, no added sugars, no lactose, and no gluten. Ingredients IngredientContent per daily dose Rhodiola – ground root (Rhodiola rosea) approx. 756 mg Plus 2 common and harmless cellulose-based excipients with the abbreviations MCC / HPMC for the stability of the tablets (of purely plant origin), and a very small amount (only a few thousandths by weight) of the likewise common and harmless substance magnesium stearate. Recommended use Take 2 tablets per day with sufficient liquid. Do not take both tablets at the same time but divide them (e.g. one in the morning and one in the evening) with plenty of liquid. It is generally not recommended to take them with or shortly after meals; instead, take them at least 20–30 minutes before a meal to optimize the absorption of the active compounds in the body. Notes Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Store in a cool, dry place and keep out of reach of children. The recommended daily intake should not be exceeded.

Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) - Tabletten, 450 mg Wirkstoff
Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) tablets, 450 mg ashwagandha root powder

Ashwagandha tablets, 450 mg ashwagandha root powder Tablet size 16mm * 8mm Ashwagandha root powder per tablet 450mg What is Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera)? Ashwagandha is a nightshade plant and has long been described in Ayurvedic plant tradition. Its role is often compared with ginseng in TCM, which is why Ashwagandha is also known as “Indian ginseng”. The origin of the nightshade plant is thought to be in Africa. However, Indian ginseng is also native to Pakistan, China, the Mediterranean region and India. The herbaceous shrub can reach a height of up to 2 metres and, with its oval leaves and cherry-like flowers, looks very similar to the well-known physalis. The hard red berries are not intended for consumption. For food supplements, mainly the root is processed. This product uses ground ashwagandha root; it is not a root extract. When producing our ashwagandha tablets, we follow traditional plant knowledge. We use ashwagandha roots from selected cultivation. They are carefully cut into small pieces, gently dried and finely ground. Only after all processing steps have passed our quality control is the raw material gently pressed into tablets. Ashwagandha in the Ayurvedic tradition Ashwagandha has been described in Ayurveda for more than 3000 years and still holds an important place there today. Indian ginseng is traditionally classified in Ayurvedic plant knowledge and is known to many people as part of a mindful plant routine. This classification describes the traditional use of the plant and is not a statement about the prevention, treatment or cure of diseases. Beyond Ayurvedic teaching, Ashwagandha is known by several names, including Withania somnifera, Indian ginseng and winter cherry. These names are used for botanical identification and do not imply any specific effect. Withania somnifera contains typical plant constituents, such as alkaloids including anaferine, anahygrine, cuscohygrine, nicotine, tropine and withasomnine. Withanolides include somniferanolide, somniwithanolide, withaferin A and withasomniferanolide. Typical constituents of Ashwagandha The ashwagandha root used here naturally contains typical plant constituents, including steroidal alkaloids and lactones, in particular: Whitanin, Whitaninin, Pseudowhitanin, Somnin, Somniferin, Somniferinin, Tropin, Pseudotropin, so-called Ashwagandhanolides, Cuscwohygrin, Anferin, Anhydrin, Sitoindoside 7⁄8 and various others. Tablet composition: This food supplement contains ashwagandha root powder and the excipients listed below for tablet form. The ground root provides a consistent amount per tablet. Ingredients IngredientContent per daily intakeInfo Ashwagandha root powder (Withania somnifera) approx. 1350 mg ground root In addition, the tablets contain two common cellulose excipients with the abbreviations MCC / HPMC for tablet stability, as well as a very small amount (a weight share of only a few per mille) of magnesium stearate. Suggested use Take 1 tablet 3 times daily with plenty of liquid. Preferably take each tablet before a meal. It is better not to take these 3 tablets per day together, but separately (e.g. one tablet in the morning, one at noon and one in the evening) with sufficient liquid. Taking them with or shortly after meals is generally not recommended; taking them before a meal is therefore preferable. This recommendation does not have to be followed strictly. Notes If you notice tiredness or drowsiness after consumption, it is better to take the 3 tablets only in the evening, ideally before a small meal. Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Store dry, protected from heat and out of reach of children. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.

Wormwood Tablets, 360 mg Wormwood Herb Tablet size → 16mm * 8mm Wormwood herb per tablet → 360mg Wormwood tablets made from wormwood herb (Artemisia absinthium) What is wormwood (Artemisia absinthium)? Many people associate wormwood with absinthe because Artemisia absinthium is one of the plants traditionally used for it. Beyond this association, wormwood has long been known as an aromatic, characteristically bitter plant and is described in a variety of cultural-historical and botanical contexts. The name is associated above all with the plant's distinctly bitter profile and characteristic aroma. Wormwood is native to the eastern Mediterranean region and parts of Europe and Asia. The plant grows along roadsides and walls, as well as beside streams and riverbanks. On calcareous, nutrient-rich soil, the bushy subshrub can reach a height of up to one metre. The pale yellow flowers and characteristic plant aroma shape the appearance of wormwood. As temperatures rise, fine oil glands release the plant's aromatic constituents. We use only ground wormwood herb without roots for our tablets. The herb is processed into a practical tablet form with a clearly stated serving size. The composition is shown in the ingredient and constituent information below. The tablet format makes it easy to incorporate the stated recommended daily intake into a personal routine. Wormwood as a plant with a long tradition Artemisia absinthium has been mentioned in historical sources for a long time. Its characteristic scent, aromatic plant profile and bitter taste have contributed to wormwood becoming known in various cultures. Historical descriptions refer to the plant's traditional familiarity and are not statements about a health effect of this food supplement. Wormwood is also mentioned in European botanical traditions and in writings attributed to Hildegard of Bingen. Such descriptions focus primarily on the plant's characteristic aroma and bitter profile. The wormwood tablets are intended to supplement the daily diet and provide ground wormwood herb in a practical dosage form. Composition of the Wormwood Tablets The food supplement contains ground wormwood herb, the cellulose-based excipients MCC and HPMC for tablet stability, and a small amount of magnesium stearate.
