Cat's Claw (Uncaria tomentosa) Tincture

Cat’s Claw Tincture (1:4) Cat’s Claw (Uncaria tomentosa, Uña de Gato) tincture made from ground root bark What is Cat’s Claw (Uncaria tomentosa)? Cat’s Claw owes its name to its appearance, as the woody vine bears thorns that closely resemble the claws of a house cat. This climbing plant is primarily found in Colombia, Ecuador, Trinidad, Venezuela, Costa Rica, and many other tropical regions. It thrives especially well in dense forests, where it climbs trees in search of sunlight and can grow to an astonishing height of up to 100 meters. Its shoots carry opposite leaves, and in the spaces between them, slightly sickle-shaped thorns appear, giving the plant its characteristic name. Following the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), we use only the root bark for our products, as this part is believed to hold the highest potential. Because a healthy and sustainable lifestyle is at the core of our philosophy, we always ensure the finest quality of raw materials. Cat’s Claw in Indigenous Traditions and Traditional Chinese Medicine Modern science has succeeded in identifying some of the active compounds of Cat’s Claw. In addition to flavonoids, alkaloids, and triterpenes, it contains a wide spectrum of steroids and other components. This diverse composition helps explain why Uncaria tomentosa has been used in traditional medicine for thousands of years. Its alkaloids are considered immune-modulating, triterpenes are thought to help ward off unwanted guests in the body, and flavonoids support the protection of cells against free radicals. Indigenous peoples along the Amazon make extensive use of the plant’s many active ingredients. Uncaria tomentosa is particularly valued there for its anti-inflammatory properties. Shamans and healers traditionally use Cat’s Claw to address chronic inflammation of the respiratory tract and joints. Even so-called “diseases of civilization” in the Western world are treated by Amazonian communities with Cat’s Claw — ranging from joint pain to metabolic imbalances. Even in cases of severe cellular changes, indigenous populations trust in the power of this vine. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Cat’s Claw is used in similar ways. Experienced practitioners apply Uncaria tomentosa not only for the uses mentioned above but also for dizziness and issues related to excessively rapid blood circulation. If you are familiar with the works of Stephen Harrod Buhner, you will know that he recommends Cat’s Claw as one of the key herbs for Lyme disease protocols. Cat’s Claw is a well-established dietary supplement made from the root bark of this South American vine, native particularly to Peru. In Europe, kudzu root still plays only a minor role — but in Japan and China, it has long been an integral part of traditional medicine. Since the plant originates in these regions, that may not seem surprising at first. But once you realize the great potential hidden in its massive root, it becomes clear that this ancient remedy deserves more recognition. That is why kudzu root is now also available here — naturally in our trusted quality. So what kind of plant are we talking about? Botanically, Pueraria lobata belongs to the legume family. While that may sound unspectacular, kudzu is quite different from beans and peas. This vigorous vine can grow up to 20 meters in a single year, producing climbing shoots of up to 12 meters. Its roots can weigh as much as 35 kilograms, while its fragrant purple blossoms resemble countless small orchids. For our kudzu tablets, we use only roots from valuable organic cultivation, following the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The roots are carefully grown under strict quality standards, dried, finely milled, and gently pressed into tablets. The TCM Secret In Traditional Chinese Medicine, kudzu root has been valued for centuries. Experienced practitioners recommend it especially for fatigue, digestive issues, and menopausal discomfort. Pueraria lobata is also traditionally used to balance cravings for external substances. Its remarkable phytochemicals explain why kudzu root enjoys such high regard in Asia. 5-HTP is a precursor of serotonin, the so-called “happiness hormone.” Isoflavones such as daidzein and daizin are phytoestrogens, resembling human hormones in surprising ways. Senegawurzel (Polygala tenuifolia) - Tinktur 100ml

Average rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars

Senega root (Polygala tenuifolia) - Tincture

Senega Root Tincture (1:4) Senega Root (Polygala tenuifolia) tincture made from the roots What is Senega Root? The so-called rattlesnake root plant has long been valued by Native Americans, primarily for its roots. It grows in forests, prairies, and along moist riverbanks—though only where soil conditions suit it. The plant prefers rocky and calcareous soils. Despite stems that can reach up to 50 cm, the flowering plant appears rather inconspicuous at first, with its small green to white blossoms. Yet its true power lies hidden deep within. Its hard, woody rootstock holds remarkable treasures, evident from its striking, twisted, conical form. Senega root also has a distinctive scent, reminiscent of wintergreen. Just like Native Americans, we use only Senega roots for the production of our tablets. The roots are finely ground and gently pressed into tablets. Senega Root in Traditional Chinese Medicine In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Senega root has been successfully used for over 2000 years. Practitioners in Asia especially value the plant for its versatility. In TCM, all plants and foods are classified by their properties, and Senega root is considered bitter and cold. It is traditionally used to dispel excess “heat” from the body, which arises from internal imbalances. According to TCM, Senega root helps the body block unwanted intruders from entering in the first place. Acting like a vigilant doorman or soldier, the plant defends the body against invasion. Should intruders manage to enter cells, they are promptly expelled. In this way, the body is able to regulate and calm its inner fire. Today, numerous studies in the Western world also explore the broad effects of Senega root, particularly its unique composition of valuable constituents. The roots contain resins, tannins, essential oils, and flavonoids. Especially notable is their high content of melatonin. While melatonin was once thought to occur only in humans and animals, it is now known that many plants contain it as well. Few, however, can match the high melatonin content of Senega root. This is particularly important since stress and aging reduce the body’s natural production of this essential hormone, which regulates sleep cycles and circadian rhythm. With its antioxidant activity, melatonin also protects and repairs molecules in the body. Any excess melatonin is converted into serotonin—the so-called “happiness hormone,” which helps lift mood. Senega root is also mentioned in Stephen Harrod Buhner’s book Herbal Antivirals. The North American Secret To be clear: Senega root has never really been a secret. It was already being used in Europe as early as the 18th century. Still, traditional knowledge often falls into obscurity over time. Senega root, however, remains remarkable. Native Americans continue to use the roots today for sore throat, coughs, colds, hoarseness, toothaches, and wounds. In the 18th century, the roots were also used in German-speaking regions for eye problems and bladder complaints. Senega root contains valuable compounds such as saponins (e.g., senegin), sorbitol derivatives, wintergreen oil, phenolic acids, and sterols. Senega Root Tincture without questionable additives This dietary supplement contains no artificial colors, no flavorings, no added sugar, no lactose, no gluten. Senega Root Tincture Ingredients IngredientContent per maximum daily dose Senega root – root, in alcoholic extract(Polygala tenuifolia) approx. 800 mg Extractant: Ethanol approx. 1.6 g Additionally, traces of acetic acid from organic apple cider vinegar (below 1%) and pure water are present. Kalifornischer Mohn (Eschscholzia californica) - Tinktur 100ml

Average rating of 4.33 out of 5 stars

California Poppy (Eschscholzia californica) Tincture

California Poppy Tincture (1:4) What is California Poppy (Eschscholzia californica)? As the name suggests, the California Poppy belongs to the poppy family. Like all poppies, its yellow to orange blossoms consist of four petals and numerous stamens. Native to North America, the California Poppy can grow up to 60 cm tall. It was first documented in 1816 by the Berlin naturalist Adelbert von Chamisso, who brought seeds back to Europe and named the plant after his travel companion Johann Friedrich Eschscholtz — thus the botanical name Eschscholzia californica was born. Over time, other common names also emerged, such as Golden Poppy, Cup of Gold, or Sleepy Poppy. The names "Cup of Gold" and "Sleepy Poppy" derive from the two calyx leaves that enclose the flower. Just before blooming, this cap splits open at the base and gradually falls away. The Sleepy Poppy thrives in nutrient-rich soils and feels most at home in open grasslands. Its vibrant blossoms can only be admired in sunny weather, typically between 10 am and 5 pm. For our products, we use only ground herb from high-quality organic cultivation. The Most Important Medicinal Plant of Native Americans In Europe, California Poppy is sometimes labeled as a poisonous plant, but in its native land, it has long been valued for its healing properties. For centuries, the Golden Poppy has been a key part of traditional Native American medicine. It was used not only as a remedy for headaches and toothaches but also as a powerful sleep aid and calming agent. Native peoples also gave it to children to ease sleep disturbances and nervous excitability. Other traditional uses included stomach pain relief, wound cleansing, and protection against parasites and mosquitoes. Cat's Claw (Uncaria tomentosa) - 100g Powder

Cat’s Claw Powder Cat’s Claw (Uncaria tomentosa) powder made from ground root bark What is Cat’s Claw? The plant known as Cat’s Claw owes its name to its appearance, which strongly resembles the claws of house cats. This woody climbing vine is mainly found in tropical climates such as Colombia, Ecuador, Trinidad, Venezuela, and Costa Rica, where it thrives in dense undergrowth. In its search for sunlight, Cat’s Claw climbs trees and can reach remarkable heights of up to 100 meters. Along its shoots grow resilient leaves, between which are slightly curved thorns that resemble feline claws. For our products, we exclusively use the root bark of Cat’s Claw, as Traditional Chinese Medicine attributes the greatest potential to this part of the plant. Since a healthy and sustainable lifestyle is especially important to us, we place great value on the quality of our raw materials. Cat’s Claw in Indigenous Traditions and Traditional Chinese Medicine Modern science has identified a number of Cat’s Claw’s active compounds. In addition to flavonoids, alkaloids, and triterpenes, Uncaria tomentosa also contains a variety of steroids and other components. These findings partly explain why Cat’s Claw has such a long history of use. Its alkaloids are considered immune-modulating, its triterpenes are used to ward off unwanted intruders, and its flavonoids help protect cells from oxidative stress. Indigenous peoples along the Amazon have long valued the diverse properties of Cat’s Claw for a wide range of applications. They prize Uncaria tomentosa especially for its anti-inflammatory properties, traditionally using it for chronic conditions of the respiratory system and joints. Cat’s Claw is also employed for ailments of modern civilization, from joint pain to metabolic disorders. Even in serious illnesses such as cancer, indigenous communities trust in the strength of this plant. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Uncaria tomentosa is also used, particularly for dizziness and symptoms related to excessive “liver fire.” Stephen Harrod Buhner also mentions Cat’s Claw in his works as a preferred herb in protocols for Lyme disease. Cat’s Claw is available as a dietary supplement, made from the root bark of the climbing vine, native mainly to South America, especially Peru. Ingredients Cat’s Claw (Uncaria tomentosa) from the root bark Note We offer this powder as a botanical raw material (food grade) without any specified purpose.

Turmeric (Curcuma longa) - Tablets, 660 mg active ingredient

Turmeric and Black Pepper, 660 mg Active Ingredient Tablet size → 16mm * 8mm Active ingredient per tablet → 660 mg What is Turmeric (Curcuma longa) with Black Pepper (Piper nigrum)? Almost everyone knows turmeric and black pepper — but mostly only as spices. Did you know, however, that both of these components have been valued as powerful medicinal plants for thousands of years? Each one is impressive on its own, but together turmeric and black pepper form an unbeatable duo. In Ayurvedic medicine, turmeric and black pepper are considered far more than just flavor enhancers for food… Turmeric belongs to the ginger family and originally comes from the island of Java. Today, it is cultivated throughout Asia and Africa. Curcuma longa is a plant that grows to about 1 meter high, sprouting from a rhizome. With its large, stalked leaves and yellow flowers, it strongly resembles the ginger plant. Piper nigrum, black pepper, belongs to the pepper family. This climbing plant grows along trees and can reach heights of up to 10 meters. Originally native to India, the unripe fruits are harvested and dried, turning them wrinkled and black — the black pepper we know. In producing our tablets, we follow the principles of Ayurvedic medicine. That is why we use only turmeric roots from valuable organic cultivation. After the aerial parts of the plant have withered, the rhizomes are carefully cut, gently dried, and finely ground. Only after passing our strict quality controls is the raw material pressed into tablets. Add a Touch of Spice to Your Well-Being In Ayurveda, the beneficial properties of turmeric and black pepper have long been known. Turmeric has been successfully used in Indian culture for more than 4000 years. Early records can be found in the Ayurvedic textbook Susruta Samhita (around 250 BC), which describes its use in cases of food poisoning. According to Ayurvedic tradition, turmeric has a highly beneficial influence on the digestive system and is used for bloating, cramps, upper abdominal pain, nausea, and loss of appetite. Ayurvedic practitioners also use turmeric for itchy or scaly skin conditions, coughs, and colds. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the healing properties of turmeric are equally valued. In the 17th-century surgical handbook Wai Ke Zheng Zong, physician Chen Shi-Gong described the successful use of Curcuma longa for liver dysfunction, rheumatism, psoriasis, and menstrual disorders. According to TCM, turmeric strengthens the Qi flow of the meridians and supports the body’s defense system. It is considered warming and at the same time heat-clearing, making it a popular remedy in TCM for muscle and joint pain as well as intestinal and skin problems. In Ayurveda, black pepper is also valued as a medicinal plant, traditionally used for respiratory issues, circulatory problems, and digestive disturbances caused by heavy, fatty foods. Turmeric with black pepper contains valuable active compounds, including: curcuminoids, essential oils, sesquiterpenes, polysaccharides, hydroxycinnamic acid derivatives, peptides (such as tumerin), terpenes (phellandrene, cineole, borneol), capric acid. California Poppy (Eschscholzia californica) - Tablets, 330 mg active ingredient

California Poppy Tablets, 330 mg active ingredient Tablet size → 16 mm * 8 mm Active ingredient per tablet → 330 mg What is California Poppy (Eschscholzia californica)? As the name suggests, the California Poppy belongs to the poppy family. Like all poppy species, its yellow to orange flowers consist of four petals and numerous stamens. Originally native to North America, the California Poppy can grow up to 60 cm tall. It was first described in 1816 by the Berlin naturalist Adelbert von Chamisso, who brought seeds back to Europe and named the plant after his travel companion Johann Friedrich Eschscholtz. This gave rise to the botanical name Eschscholzia californica. Over time, other common names have appeared, such as Golden Poppy, Cup of Gold, or Sleepy Poppy. The latter names come from the two calyx leaves that enclose the flower. Shortly before blooming, this "cap" splits at the base and falls away. The Sleepy Poppy prefers nutrient-rich soils and thrives particularly well in open grasslands. Its radiant blossoms are visible only in sunny weather and usually only between 10 am and 5 pm. For our products, we use exclusively ground herb from certified organic cultivation. The Most Important Medicinal Plant of Native Americans In Europe, California Poppy is often regarded as a poisonous plant, but in its homeland, it has long been valued for its healing powers. For centuries, Golden Poppy has been a staple in Native American medicine. It was used not only as a pain reliever for headaches and toothaches but also as a highly effective sleep aid and calming remedy. Native tribes also administered it to children to help with sleep disturbances and nervous overstimulation. Other traditional uses included stomach pain relief, wound cleansing, and protection against parasites and mosquitoes. What’s Inside: These three groups of compounds are the main constituents: Alkaloids (traditionally associated with a positive influence on mood) Xanthophylls (oxygen-containing plant pigments) Flavonoids (powerful antioxidants that help protect the body from free radicals) California Poppy Tablets without harmful additives This dietary supplement contains no artificial colorings, no flavorings, no preservatives, no gelatin, no added sugars, no lactose, and no gluten.
