What is Alchornea Cordifolia (Christmas Bush)?

Behind the mystical name Alchornea cordifolia lies a plant that grows primarily in tropical Central Africa. Known also as Christmas Bush, this healing plant is found mainly in Senegal, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, and Angola.

Alchornea cordifolia grows into a substantial shrub with large green leaves and grape-like fruits, reaching heights of up to seven meters. It thrives in acidic soils and helps regenerate depleted land. It is commonly found along riverbanks and in marshy landscapes.

Recommended Use

The intended long-term daily dosage is 165 drops (approx. 1.25 ml) per day, ideally divided into five servings of about 33 drops each. Start initially with a total of 110 drops (approx. 0.9 ml) per day — or five times 22 drops — and gradually increase over a few days to the full daily dose. Use the included pipette to count the drops.
