Black Walnut Tincture (1:4)
Black Walnut (Juglans nigra) tincture made from the hulls
What is Black Walnut?
The black walnut is a hard, nut-like fruit that grows on the tree of the same name. Originally native to North America, it has also been cultivated along the Rhine in Europe. This deciduous tree, belonging to the walnut family, has very specific requirements for its environment. Black walnut prefers floodplain forests with a pH value of 5 to 7 or nutrient-rich, well-aerated loamy soils. When the conditions are right, the tree can grow more than a meter per year and reach a total height of over 30 meters. The round fruits grow between the leaves and were traditionally used by Native Americans as an important natural remedy.
Plant parts used
In making our Black Walnut Tincture, we follow the traditions of Native American herbal medicine and use the outer hulls of the nut.
The hulls are carefully selected, gently dried, and extracted with alcohol according to strict quality standards. This process ensures that all valuable constituents are preserved in their natural complexity.
Traditional use
In Native American herbal medicine, black walnut is regarded as an important healing plant. It was primarily used against parasitic infestations caused by worms, fungi, bacteria, and viruses. Thus, the tincture has traditionally been applied for infections. Other traditional uses include swelling, bloating, pain, herpes, ulcers, and blood pressure issues.

Absolute Kaufempfehlung!
