What is Stone Breaker?

Stone Breaker: the name says it all – at least in the Amazon regions. Here, the medicinal herb is known as “Chanca piedra.” To the untrained eye, the wild-growing plant, reaching up to 40 cm in height, may look like a simple weed. No wonder – its fine leaves and inconspicuous white flowers appear quite unspectacular at first glance. But the indigenous people of South America have long known the true power of this plant. After all, what delicate herb can claim to break stones?

For our tincture, we use the entire herb in accordance with South American folk medicine. It is harvested under strict quality standards, carefully dried, and extracted with alcohol. Only in this way can we ensure that all valuable constituents are released and made available to you in their purest form.

For centuries, Stone Breaker has had a firm place in South American folk medicine. As its name suggests, Chanca piedra is believed to break stones – not just any stones, but kidney and gallstones. For this reason, it is primarily used for such ailments. However, it is also employed in the Amazon for skin, liver, and digestive issues, as well as coughs, colds, and pain relief.

 Additionally, traces of acetic acid from organic apple vinegar (less than 1%) and pure water are present.

Stone Breaker Tincture Recommended Use

The intended long-term daily dose is 78 drops (approx. 2.4 ml) per day, ideally divided into three servings of about 26 drops each.

Initially, begin with only 28 drops (approx. 0.8 ml) per day – or three times 9 drops – and then gradually increase over several days to the long-term daily dose.

The recommended daily intake indicated here should generally not be exceeded. The tincture is naturally cloudy and should be shaken before use.

Important: Contains 65% alcohol by volume. This product is not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women. In general, intake should not exceed 3 consecutive months; afterwards, a one-month break before continued use is advisable.
